If you call 110, you will be asked, "Is this for a crime or an accident?"
Please tell them the following clearly:
- What happened and when it occurred
- Are there any injured people?
(If someone is seriously injured, call 119 first.)
- Address of the place where the crime or accident occurred
(If you don't know the address, describe the building or a landmark.)
- Name and phone number of the person calling
If you lose your personal items
Visit the nearest police station or police box to file the loss.
If you lose your credit card, ATM card, smartphone, etc., immediately contact your credit card company, bank, mobile phone company, etc. to prevent them from being used by others.
If you receive a notification that your lost item has been found, go to the police station or the lost property center to pick it up.
