The name "Irodori: Japanese for Life in Japan" reflects the kind thoughts of its developers. The name was chosen to express their wish that the daily life of foreign people living in Japan would be made richer and more colourful, through conversations and interactions with their neighbours and colleagues. They hoped that the "Irodori" would help them in regards to the Japanese language, and communication.
In addition to substantial materials for "speaking," "listening,""reading," and "writing," there is a column at the end of each lessons called "Tips for Life in Japan". These sections introduce useful information regarding living in Japan and Japanese culture, along with pictures. These columns are tailored to the topic of each lesson, so you can build up your knowledge gradually. Each language version is available, so it will also be useful for people coming to Japan in the future.
