Namaste Edogawa-ku

Namaste Edogawa Ward is a citizen's group active mainly in Edogawa Ward, Tokyo.

Tokyo is the prefecture with the largest number of foreign residents in Japan. Among them, Edogawa Ward has the second largest number of foreign residents*1 after Shinjuku. In Japan, where the aging society is progressing and the number of foreign residents is increasing, Edogawa Ward can be said to be a microcosm of a multicultural society in Japan.

With the aim of becoming a role model for a symbiotic society in which foreigners and Japanese live together and understand each other, we are conducting exchange projects for Indians and Japanese living in Japan.
