【Disaster Prevention Topics⑮】~Be aware and be prepared. Prevent food poisoning during a disaster. ~
The Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation “TSUNAGARI” is introducing tools that are useful for disaster prevention, as part of our “Disaster Prevention Topics.”
In a disaster, water can run out and food poisoning* can occur.
A leaflet created by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government includes ways to ensure you do not get food poisoning in a disaster situation.
The leaflet is available in four languages. (Japanese/English/Chinese (simplified/traditional)/Korean)
*Food poisoning: When a person becomes physically ill (stomach pains, vomiting food, etc.) from eating or drinking food or drink that contains bacteria or viruses.
