The Japanese Speech Contests for foreign diplomats, as our main activity, was to respond to the strong demand of foreign diplomats in Japan for the opportunity to announce their opinions in Japanese in 1998. 
This traditional speech contest, which is celebrating its 29th anniversary, will be held at the following venue this year.

Hours: 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Venue: Akasaka Civic Hall (4-18-13 Akasaka, Chome, Minato-ku, Tokyo)

On the day of the event, the awards ceremony will be held at the venue with the participation of diplomats from each country as well as related parties such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
