About Returnee Connect
At Returnee Connect, we recognize that many children experience feelings of isolation or discomfort while adjusting to Japanese school culture and social relationships after returning from abroad.
Our goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment where elementary school returnee students can connect with peers who have had similar experiences, communicate openly, and build meaningful friendships through an online community.
This community was founded by returnee high school students who have personally experienced the challenges of readjusting to life in Japan. Drawing from these experiences, we hope to create a place where younger returnee students can feel understood, supported, and connected.

👤Who Can Participate
The program is primarily intended for:
• Children aged 6–12 (approximately Grades 1–6)
• Elementary school returnee students
• Children from multicultural backgrounds
• Students interested in English and cross-cultural communication

📝Program Format
Participants may register for the day and time that best fits their schedule.
Sessions will be conducted online in small groups to encourage participation and meaningful interaction.
English and Japanese may both be used depending on participant preferences and needs.
