Save the Children Cash Assistance 2026 for New Students 

～We will provide partial support for the costs of new school enrollments to ensure children’s right to learn.(eligibility criteria apply)～

Save the Children offers the “Save the Children Cash Assistance 2026 for New Students” to help children enjoy their school life without financial worries.
This program provides a portion of the cost associated with graduation and enrollment for new first-year junior high school students and first-year high school students.

【Application Period】

From 10:00a.m. Thursday, January 8 to12:00p.m.(noon) Friday, January 23, 2026

 

【Eligible person】

The child who meets all the following eligibility criteria 1 to 3.

1. The Child concerned must reside in Japan at the time of application and be scheduled to enter a junior high school, or high school, etc., within Japan in April 2026. 
2. The parents/guardian’s annual income meets the standard amount set by Save the Children, and it is difficult to prepare for graduation and enrollment expenses.
3. The living situation must meet one of the conditions A-H.
